Delete Account & Data Removal

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to have your personal data erased (Article 17 — "right to erasure"). We process all requests within 30 days of receipt, as required by law.

1. What requests can you submit?

Delete account

Permanently delete your account and all associated personal data.

Access to data

Receive an overview of all data we hold about you.

Correct data

Have incorrect or outdated personal data updated or corrected.

Export data

Receive a copy of your data in a common format (data portability).

2. What gets deleted?

Will be deleted
  • Name and email address
  • Password (stored encrypted)
  • Credit balance and transaction history
  • Website configurations (publishers)
  • Session and access history
  • Notification preferences
  • All linked device data
Retained (legal obligation)
  • Billing and payment records (7 years — tax authority)
  • Anonymous, aggregated statistics (non-identifiable)
  • Data required for ongoing legal proceedings

3. How does the process work?

Identity verification

We will send a confirmation link to your email address to verify your identity. This protects your account from misuse.

Processing (max. 30 days)

After verification we will process your request. You will receive a confirmation once everything is completed.

Email confirmation

You will receive a final confirmation that your data has been deleted or that your request has been handled.

Use the email address linked to your viewLox account.

5. Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
